Pas|cal's law «pas KALZ, PAS kuhlz»,
Physics. the principle in hydrostatics that in a fluid at rest the pressure is the same in all directions and that, except for the differences of pressure produced by the action of gravity, pressure applied to a confined fluid is transmitted equally in all directions.
